Gigi Fitzsimmons
Executive Assistant
After earning my degree from the University of Tennessee, I found myself drawn back to the world of Labradors in a meaningful way. I grew up with a yellow English Lab named Chase, who sparked a lifelong love for the breed and when the door opened to work with Smoky Mtn. Labradors that passion truly came full circle. When I’m not working, my husband, Luke, and I enjoy hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, trying new foods, spending time with friends, and hanging out with our cat, Duchess — and we’re hoping to add a dog to the family soon!
Seth Wolfenbarger
Marketing Director
I've had the privilege of working at Smoky Mtn Labradors over the past few years in a variety of roles. As a Wolfenbarger, dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—it's in my blood! I'm a people person through and through, and if I could spend every day meeting new people, swapping stories, and making meaningful connections, I’d be living my dream. Until then, I find so much joy in helping others find their new best friend in the form of a Labrador!
Ian Peters
Director of Operations
My passion for dogs has grown a lot over the past few years, especially while working at Smoky Mountain Labradors. This team is hardworking and truly strives to provide high quality care for our dogs and excellent support for our clients. When I’m not working, I spend time playing drums and guitar for my church, investing in my music skills, traveling to big cities, playing a lot of golf with friends, and just hanging out with my golden retriever.
Jaden Mathews
Communications Director
Being born in Tennessee but raised in Texas, I always felt that I would one day make my way back to East Tennessee. After running D1 track and field and earning my bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University, I got the opportunity to come use my gifts and talents with Smoky Mtn Labradors! Dogs have been a significant part of my world since day one, which makes Smoky Mtn. feel even more like home. When I’m not working, I enjoy anything outdoors, as well as thrifting, hiking, running, writing, playing spike-ball, and spending time with friends and family.
Ronnie Johnson
Kennel Manager
I've been married for over 45 years and have two wonderful children. Over the years, I've also had the privilege of helping raise children from three other families—something that has brought me a lot of joy and purpose. Family means everything to me, and I’ve always loved spending time outdoors with my brothers, sisters, and loved ones. Growing up, my dad always had rabbit and quail hunting dogs, and I was right there beside him helping care for them. That’s where my love for working with dogs began, and it’s a passion that’s stayed with me ever since.
Devan Bollinger
Kennel Manager
I've been working with animals for as long as I can remember—it’s always been a passion of mine. There’s nothing more rewarding than making sure each pet feels safe, healthy, and genuinely cared for. As the Kennel Manager here at Smoky Mountain Labradors, I treat every dog like they're part of my own family. I take a lot of pride in the love and attention we give them every day. When I'm not at work, there's a good chance you'll find me out on the water fishing or cheering on the Vols with friends and family.
